Put the Love in the Coconut

I think the last time I had brand new sheets was the 10 sets I got for our wedding gifts, that was over 7 years ago. Yep, I'm totally convinced now, I need pillowcases with 'PUT THE LOVE IN THE COCONUT' all over them! The boat would look much happier with these too don't you think.....

no link? I found these must have shoes on pinterest  and have no idea where to get

New-(ish) store crush - Magnolia Interiors

I'm like a deer in the headlights when I enter the Magnolia store, so many

delicious things to look at! They seem to have a knack for finding the most

amazing and unique table lamps, the blue spiky ones below are so stunning.

It almost makes me want to move back into a house and fill it full of beautiful

things.........almost, no, I really love the boat, I'm happy just to look for now.

New from Cloth

I've always loved fabric from Cloth, and they have some new prints and colour ways 

they've added to the workingcloth collection. This range is hand printed on lightweight linen available in raw (unbleached) or cream. Available through Duckcloth-online fabric   

Living on the wedge

Am drooling over the summer shoes that are in stores at the moment, particularly 

wedges.....I love them, and I wouldn't mind a pair of these funky Ikat ones from 

ALDO (and they are on sale- hurrah). I've had to part with most of my "stuff" now 

we're on the boat...but I haven't started weaning myself off my NEED for more shoes!

Store spotting

I have a few stores around town that are on my 'must check out' list. I nearly 

have car accidents trying to glimpse what's inside these stores as I drive past

in a rush somewhere, so I'm glad I had a spare moment to pop into The Modern

Furniture Store to check out all the funky furniture and homewares. I love their

modern yet timeless designs, and the high quality. If you are in Brisbane:

Spring/Summer dresses

Looking forward to swapping my military look that I've been favouring

this Winter for a more feminine exotic look. These Kaftans and Summer dresses

Searching for bamboo pendant lights, I got stuck browsing on the the

fab Hermon & Hermon site. What was I searching for again....? ?

I especially love the flower/Lilly pad like chair, and it comes in

different colours too!

I'm loving maps and globes at the moment, and these map

...Flowers

Yesterday my Girl and I made a trip out to the Rocklea flower market.

I was hoping they would have heliconia flowers and other tropical

lovelies to fill our house with. The market wasn't as big as I expected,

but had enough to turn me into a deer looking into headlights ( I get a

bit overwhelmed when surrounded by beutiful things).

It's was worth the drive, because they are wholesale, I left with 

three big bunches of stunning super fresh flowers for the price of

one bunch. Photographers are coming tomorrow, and fresh flowers

always make a house look amazing. First open house next weekend-

YAY!

Not a very good pic sorry, taken with my iPhone as my new Canon

hasn't arrived yet.....starting to wonder. Snapdragons with glossy

green leaves (can't remember the name).

Heliconia crab claw, Flax leaves (two colours), ginger leaves, some

red sticks from a tree (I thought they were painted but they're not)

and pretty yellow Orchids.

I got some new cushions too, to freshen up the sitting room. I love

the coral with the green, what do you think? I'm trying to achieve a

pacific Island resort vibe, I just hope all the colour going on in the

house doesn't scare off potential buyers. At least you can't go wrong

with colourful flowers!
